Wednesday, August 13 NASSAU, N.Y. — A private in the Army National Guard was killed in a head-on collision in Nassau on Tuesday. Erika Jellison, 20, of North Adams, Mass., was driving east on Garfield Road when her vehicle, a 1983 Chevrolet Camaro, crossed the double-yellow centerline, according to a preliminary investigation by the Rensselaer County Sheriff's Department.
